Odesa libraries are in urgent need of literature in Ukrainian language. In June 2023, we launched a gethering of 1,000 books in Ukrainian to be donated to the collection of the Franko Central City Library, which will then distribute them to 38 branch libraries.
What kind of books are needed?
Preference is given to: Ukrainian authors, fiction for children and adults, popular science, books on history, sociology and natural sciences. Please note that we accept books in the Ukrainian language in good condition.
How do I send the books?
Residents of Odesa will be able to leave their books in our office or at our partners (see the map). And Ukrainians from other regions can send books by Nova Poshta for free.
